My little cocker spaniel has been bringing up bile, she does not seem sick other than that, is keen for her walks is eating and drinking normally and having a bark at the neighbours! I will take her to the Vet on Monday or will call out if she deteriorates. My main problem with Vets and small animals is they rarely hone in on a problem without doing every conceivable test possible. It is not just the money but the distress this causes, plus tbh I resent this and wonder why small animal Vets practice in this way whereas Equine Vets usually have a good idea on first look.
So has anyone else experienced this , if so what was it please.

I have a Jack Russell who will do this if her stomach is empty. She is now fed twice a day and has no sign of the problem. Your dog is probably entirely different.

Thank you judyh, actually having googled the problem it seems that it is the same for Holly, she is a picky eater and this is a symptom of an empty tummy, she has always been fed twice a day, I have just been out to find something that will tempt her and see what happens... fingers crossed
