Wash legs with white shampoo, we use groom away ultra white shampoo, then use Talcum powder made into a paste. Rub on socks , bandage and brush off excess before going into ring. We had a welsh A with 4 white socks. Socks always looked immaculate. Hope that helps.

Not quite as readily available as it used to be though so we tend to use supreme leg whitener now. Same way as zinc oxide. Mix into a paste. Paint it on and leave until show day. Brush off just before going in the ring.

Supreme products blue shampoo then whilst the legs are damp (as above) use supreme leg whitener, put on with a damp sponge so it goes onto legs like a paste. Bandage over night then take off the next morning and brush ! I have found premier equine bandage wraps to be the best as they don't leave lines and marks on the legs, hope that helps

As above only I have used just white chalk powder, mixed into a paste - works a treat and is miles the cheapest option lol!!!

Wash in fairy platinum then we use the Smart Grooming Leg and Body Whitener mixed into a paste sponged on bandaged and brushed out the next day, it's very white!
