Registered British riding pony, ( over stamped Part bred Arab & Part bred Welsh). LHC 141.3 cm.
Beautiful well bred Bright Bay gelding Open Show Hunter Pony 11yrs, (2005)
Well schooled, knows his job, previously qualified RI 143cm SHP. Results list a mile long but he's has done all the counties, BSPS champs and always placed. Previously placed in HOYS qualifiers. With a previous owner he started Novice 143 Workers and really took to it, he has a super pop, although we have not competed at workers but have jumped him in Clinics & lessons and he is fab, we think it's his thing.
He's been to PC camp, and thrived, doing X country, and having a go at polo crosse!!!!! He loves a varied life, absolute Saint on the roads and I'm very very safety conscious and I have no problem letting my 13yr old (youngest daughter) hack him out on her own or in company. In fact he'll ride out for hours with his ears pricked. Loads,, travels well, stands on the box all day, excellent with the farrier, vet, dentist, clipping, worming etc, never bitten, or kicked.
Last season we did all levels with him, and had super results, local riding clubs, BSPS, NCPA, local agricultural shows & County level. We've also shown him as a show pony and he's had lots of wins with us. I certainly wouldn't say he is for a novice jockey but that said my daughter isn't the bravest!!!! And he's looked after her. He has amazing paces and is a big mover, a super trot, goes in a double or snaffle. Hes not eligible for novice SHP but will still be a novice SP. He rides nicely forward in a lovely outline and has a great gallop , lowers and goes, but is always mannerly when he comes back.
We are only selling him as he's my eldest daughters pony, she's out of class at the end of the season and off to college and my youngest has her own ponies, so he's just in the field.
We've shown him once this season due to my daughters exams, but my youngest has kept him going by having lessons & hacking him when she can.
We would love him to go to a competent home, where he'll be stabled at night ( he loves his box & to be cosy!!!) with turnout during the day. He's very used to being stabled as in his early showing days he was produced. We would love him to have an all round home, that will hopefully do a bit of everything with him.
Please respectfully no time wasters or absolute beginners. We are in the North West And will happily let someone try him all day long as we want the best for him (hate selling ponies and saying goodbye) Sorry no loans or leases.
Looking for OIRO £2750 but the right home is the most important. He has a Black Country saddle that can be sold separately.
Please leave a message on here and I'll check back every day and get back to you or call 07786086174 Thanks.
