Hello,
As title suggests really! My pony had rubbed section of his mane in the winter which thanks to copious amounts of megatek and supreme products I have gone from zero mane to a good inch and a half, maybe two but it is really thin. I'm still slapping on the growth products like they are going out of fashion!
Anyway, I have shows coming up and the teeny tiny plait I can get in looks rubbish compared to the others so, I made some false ones- thy look great but I'm really stuck on how to attach them so they look like an actual plait rather than just stuck on if that makes sense? I've googled and you tubed countless times and can't really find much on it. Can anyone help? Maybe some pictures or something? I find plaiting a really hard thing to put into words so hoping someone can do it a lot better than me!
Thanks in advance

Not done this myself but eager to learn how to make a false plait and get it very round? If I were to sew a false plait on I think I would try and make a small plait with the existing mane hair, turn it under and then sew the false plait onto that. Let me know if that works please

i had the same problem with my mare ,,,, what i did was when i pulled the rest of the mane i kept the hair (ortake some out the middle of the tail) , then with the little bit of mane you do have , place an appropriate amount of the aquired hair on each section you will plait ,with spare top and bottem,,,plait as normal , turn the end up ,,, band or sew ,,,, trim off spare at the bottem, roll or fold up plait ,,, sew ,,,, and the spare at the top trim off as close to the plait as possible ,,, you might be able to see slightly that its a false plait ,,,, but ive won turnout classes doing this method ,,, practice on a bit of mane that hasnt been rubbed out,,, good luck sx

Excellent!!! I will try and give that a go fanfarefan! As for making the false plaits I just plaited a section of spare hair and actually rolled the plait up rather than folding like you would a real plait- so hard so put in writing! I will try and get some pictures of the flash ones I made.
