I am afraid not. If he measures over 148cm he is ineligible to compete under any affiliated Society as a Connemara pony. A few years ago they had a stamp down on over height connies and a lot of the top class HOYS ponies were re-measured and ultimately the ones that measured out were no longer able to compete under rules.

I presume you were looking on the section with breed descriptions, but BSPS Rule 329 states that in all Heritage classes ponies are restricted to the breed standard and height limits laid down by their appropriate Breed Societies
