A reminder that, although 'pre-entries' closed in June, show entries can still be made either on the day or beforehand via the SHS Website / Entrymaster.
On-site Stabling is selling fast so, if you wish to stable ON this brilliant showground, you can either book your stable on-line when you enter or, e-mail the Stable Manager, Caroline Nelson on caroline.nelson4@btinternet.com for a booking form. If you have any stabling queries, don't hesitate to call or text Caroline on 075 999 66 121.
DAY STABLES: Cannot be released until almost show day, so if you really need a stable/s on the day it's best to book an overnight one.
Allocation and payment of DAY stables (CASH ONLY PLEASE) on the morning of the show - Call the above number (075 999 66 121). Caroline Nelson & Mark Wilde, (Stabling team), will be found after 07.30 am Stewarding in the Working Hunter Ring, Ring 6 and will help you with your allocation / take payment for day stables.
The Stable Manager's Office will NOT be manned once classes have commenced.
REMINDER: ACCESS to the Showground/lorry parking/stables
is via Halyards Road - the lane access which is on your left, directly off the A8 dual carriageway, 'Glasgow Road', which is accessed Eastbound towards the Airport from the big Newbridge Roundabout at Junction 1 of the M8, (the one with the McDonalds to the side of it).
Halyards Road will be SIGNED > Scottish Horse Show. Follow this little lane onto the Stable Area / Lorry Park.
For those who are familiar with arriving at the Royal Highland Showground from the West, Halyards Road is the lane which comes soon after the RHAS Show's sign for 'Sheep' & 'Pink' and is immediately at the end of the large RHASS grass car park.
Park up - the Stable Manager's Office is situated at the bottom of the Stable Block (in a stable) - where you will find Sarah, Mark and/or Caroline to help you with your stable allocation.
THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE SHS STABLING AND PARKING FROM THE HILTON HOTEL ROUNDABOUT / HOLIDAY INN END OF THE SHOWGROUND.
So, please don't go that far towards the Airport / back of the showground! If you do, you'll need to travel back along the A8 Westbound to the Newbridge Roundabout, go all the way round it and then go Eastbound again to pick up the Left turning onto Halyards Road.
