THE LOVELY FLUFF McDUFF IS NOW SOLD. BEST WISHES WITH HIM SAMANTHA AND YVONNE. UNEXPECTEDLY RE-OFFERED FOR SALE AUGUST 20th > This is a substantial, full up 148cm tobiano traditional gelding born 2009, a serious contender for HOYS and RIHS classes. He is beautifully marked and has the most enormous front, 10” quality bone, ample silky feather with a beautiful pony head. You will see from the videos he is a super, active mover, is full of presence and really stands out from the crowd – often being mistaken for a stallion. He has the most gorgeous temperament, hacks out alone or in company and is very easy to produce, travel and handle at shows, so would be equally suitable for an amateur or professional to take to the very top. This is his first CHAPS season (not registered with BSPA as yet,) and though only very lightly shown he has won, including champion, and qualified CHAPS in hand, novice ridden and open ridden. He has done some HOYS qualifiers for experience and was 7th (equal 6th on points) out of 31 in the Midlands County HOYS class and was 10th out of 24 in the HOYS qualifier at the Aintree Showing Show. Without doubt his best is yet to come, but you can see he is out doing the business in top company now. He is entered for the HOYS class at Stoneleigh and is sold with the entry.
This pony is very regretfully for sale by his petite, pensioner, lady owner who recognises he is simply too good to be wasted continuing as her pleasure ride and doing the odd unaffiliated dressage competition which is all he has been doing with her. He would also be suitable for the British Dressage Traditional Gypsy Cob Association competitions.
A video of him at his last 2 shows – Aintree and Newport, can be seen at youtu.be/c8XtYIxOERU
He can be seen at Merioneth County Show on Weds 24th, and can be seen and tried with Zara Owen by arrangement but please contact the owner in the first instance.
Priced at £4500 ono but home is important.
