Who does the security at equifest? Would it be better to contact them or equifest themselves regarding an issue I may have with my horses safety there?

If I were concerned about it to that extent I'd be thinking twice about going!!!!

Yes thank you, I have actually. To clarify incase anyone thinks I'm being melodramatic, it is to do with individuals who are attending the show and have a serious vendetta against me and my horses- which I have since learnt they stalk me and it is currently going through the courts as they have harmed someone else's horse who they also had a vendetta against...
Yes it would be a shame if I had to sacrifice going for them. But if anyone actually knows who the security are, could they let me know? Thank you.

Surely contacting Equifest themselves is the best idea? Considering what happened a few years ago during the show, I'm sure they'd like to know that someone has harmed someone else's horse (so long as there is evidence to back this up). They can then decide how they want to deal with it and involve the security team as necessary.
Personally, like Phillipa says, I would keep my horses safely at home if I believed they were at risk.

I would email the office with your crime number or the officer that is dealing with your case. You are more likely to get a 'proper' answer.

Thank you for your help. I dont want to let them win and have to not go due to them, so if it means I have to sleep outside my horses stables then I will do! I'll email equifest on Monday and see what they say

Other option is to try and find stabling off site locally?
Whatever you decide to do about attending the show, definitely inform equifest directly about the situation.

Does anybody actually ever see security on site near the stable blocks? Or actually anywhere

Can't say I have seen them at stables but I have seen them driving around at night and telling people who are still being loud to quiet down late at night

If you can't sort anything with the security at Equifest, there is a lovely yard about 5 minutes away which we stayed at the first year we went - its called Grange Farm I think? It would mean you could still go and compete but your horse wouldn't be in any danger

Personally I have never seen any security near the stables at any time. Last year the stables were set up in such a way that if you are in blue there were some parking spaces right outside some of them so you can look straight at the front of the stables rather than the side. Perhaps think about investing in some night vision CCTV! Honestly .... security are not going to police your horses 24/7 as they need to be keeping an eye on the whole site.
