Please can anyone tell me if the rules on RI & HOYS qualification mean in the current year or in the ponies showing career? Can't find clarification on it. Thanks

Just read the rules and think it means that the pony should never have been to HOYS OR RI. If this is the case it's a shame because the people who want to and would do the Bright Stars classes might only own an ex HOYS pony that is quite past its sell by date. However, it is the perfect pony to introduce a small child into the world of showing. Some of these old schoolmasters are priceless and should not be penalised for being famous once upon a time.

Has anyone done this before? We have qualified and entered (pony not been to HOYS) but confused if it's plaited only or mixed in lead rein, as been told both lol X

maddiesmum - sadly it is now plaited only in LR & FR (when first introduced it did not have a rule on this & I have found entries to our Spring Spectacular have dropped considerably as a result of this
