What colour offspring and type are you looking for? If you are wanting a dun the only thing that will guarantee it is a double dilute. The main pony breeds that have dilutes are Connemara and Welsh, and Highlands carry the true dun gene. Have a look on here,https://www.facebook.com/groups/231890533629874/

It depends on whether you want a true dun, the colour found in Highlands, Fjords and Icelandics with the very odd few exceptions elsewhere, or a buckskin, which is bay + cream and far more easy to locate! The genetics are totally different. RPs are not my thing, but there have been one or two buckskin RP stallions about, or what about a Welsh B? Basically you are trying to breed a bay with a copy of cream, which could come from a bay, palomino or dilute black, or any of the three forms of double dilutes. What colour is your mare?
