Apologies if this is in thw wrong place, I don't 'do' facebook but just wanted to express my thanks to everyone, fellow competitors, friends and people I don't even know personally who have been so lovely and kind and send congratulations to Chloe and Windy. It was very emotional (especially after last year's mishap!) and it still hasn't sunk in that they have finally won HOYS! For everyone who ever feels they will never make it let me tell you Chloe started showing at 8, finally achieved her dream of riding at HOYS 9 years later and (she won't thank me for this!) but finally after 24 years we have won HOYS! Every step of the way has had highs and lows and that is why showing is an addiction and I did say I would retire if and when we won but with the lovely babies coming through that won't happen! A HUGE thank you to the lovely friends we have made on our journey from first ridden days to now, especially the fantastic people who have helped Chloe on her way, some lovely owners who have trusted her to ride their pride and joys and the wealth of experience passed on from producers/fellow competitors over the years. What a line up in the Championship last night and a very worthy Champion and Reserve but everyone at HOYS is a winner you have all worked so hard to get there most importantly just keep on enjoying what you do, smile through the bad times and cry at the high times! (as all our pictures show!!) XX

I am really pleased you posted on here and sometimes (!) things can get a bit negative. I don't know you and Chloe save to nod across a showground but anyone can see through your posts and Chloe's blogs how hard you have worked. And now you have been rewarded. Perfect!

Oh well done!! Sorry, I have no idea ... what class did you win? I have seen a lot of live feed but most of it was natives.

Thank you mcnaughty - it was the Native small breed class. The very lovely (but unpredictable!!) Shilstone Rocks North Westerley. Thanks everyone again and also to everyone that has forwarded pictures/videos to Chloe. I just love his little hump in his lap of honour as someone said Windy always has to have the last word! I am sure we will come down to earth with a bump as well but a magic moment that will remain with us for ever.

Thank you all again!!!! Ilove natives we cannot believe it 2 HOYS wins and NEVER in our wildest dreams did we think we would have a pony in the Supreme! Litle baby Barbie boy Flute was so amazing, Chloe was so worried about he would cope and when you have a child on board and not in control yourself it is really tough and not something she is used to. He was so calm, took everything in his stride and we cried just watching his show! Kinvara rode him so beautifully, they just looked so pretty. We had no idea he went in the Supreme after he won so thanks to everyone especially Becky Penny who came to organise us as we were blubbing so much! I cannot believe our baby 5 year old who we do totally from home has won HOYS in his first season! My legs are still shaking this morning, my throat is so sore and I REALLY do need to go and clean out the lorry and unpack everything, Chloe had to be at work in London early this morning, Flute happily getting dirty in the field so definately back to reality!! PS Apologies for liking my own post - you can see my hands are shaking as well - hit the wrong button!!!
