I'm thinking of putting my fell pony on topspec turbo for next years showing season as I find him abit flat in the ring and needs a bit more sparkle Anyone tried this?? Tia

Tried this with my highland, no joy!!
We've had better results by changing her balancer from the top spec anti-lam to the lite balancer. Plus performance cubes at a low but constant rate.
Careful if you do use turbo, was told only to use right before a show, as not good for natives waistlines!!

Turbo did nothing for our fell, top spec performance cubes gave a little bit extra.

Works wonders for my cob! It did nothing if fed daily, but if I feed it as a one off 2 hours before going in the ring we have lots of voom

The way this was explained to me was that it is no good if fed alongside an already high energy diet - much like a regular coffee not getting a buzz from their coffee but a non-coffee drinker having one mug and getting the jitters. It all to do with tolerance.
So if said pony is on a low energy diet, and is give this before a show, you *might get a result but if he's on comp mix/oats/etc daily its unlikely to affect him.
