Lewi is is an 8 year maxi cob standing around 16.1. Good solid type with good confirmation and bone. He would make an ideal hunter as he is a true weight carrier with plenty to give. He would also make an ideal all rounder with a fabulous affectionate nature. Lewi is great to hack alone and in company and isn't phased by anything. Will go first or last and likes to stride out. Goes when asked and stops when asked. Lovely to school in walk and trot with a light mouth and self carriage. Nice and responsive to your leg and started lateral work (leg yield, shoulder in) but not sharp. His canter does need further work as struggles a bit in a small arena. Doesn't do anything wrong, just tenses a bit on bends. He is good to catch, shoe, clip and trim etc. He has been over a small cross and gave a good feel and careful technique and quite bold however he has literally only jumped a few times as mainly hacked since professionally broken as a 4 year old. Lewi is sadly for sale through no fault of his own and would be a great family member to anyone. All tack and rugs included. Not so good bit: Lewi has no issue being mounted from a leg up but does tend to take a step back when being mounted from a block or step. I have been working on this and for the past week or so has not done it. lewi was diagnosed with very mild kissing spine mid back. He spent two weeks in Liverpool where vets confirmed it was so slight they struggled to diagnose. They medicated and advised should have no future issues or problems from this. I can honestly say I have put lewi through his paces with work and he has showed no signs of anything other than improvement. I believe in being honest and genuine when selling a horse as there are too many people willing to mask, lie and cover up things which I don't believe in so please feel free to email, text or call 5* home only for this beautiful boy as this is a very hard sale.
