Dam: Relstart V.Stal Langelo.
Beautiful bloodlines going back to Marshwood.
A simply stunning mare of quality, floating action and flowing hair!
In the Netherlands this top mare had all 3 Youth Premiums, and was 7 times a First Premium mare. She was 3 times Honorary Champion at Kootwijkerbroek show, and Overall Champion at the European Championships in Ermelo!
Wemke is an excellent broodmare.
Her foals include First Premium filly, Carmen Van Het Esveld, ( by Stef Van De Mulder), and a filly of Butraqueno Van Stal Brammelo in 2015.
Wemke was bought by us in October 2015 and has been a joy to own, she is excellent to bath/ trim, catch, farrier, dentist, load/travel, and in traffic.
She has been lightly, but very successfully shown, and her results this year are :
N.P.S. Area 25 Spring Show: M+M Home Produced Qualifier: 1st. M+M Leyhills Small Breed Qualifier: 1st
Nottingham County: Shetland Class: 1st, Overall Champion, and pulled forward into Final 5 of the Cuddy, ( actually beating the Sec. B that won at HOYS!!! ).
Devon County: Shetland Class: 2nd.
Royal Norfolk: Shetland Class: 1st.
Shetland Performance Show: Shetland Class 1st. Home Produced Class: 1st.
Showcase of Champions Show Keysoe: Shetland Class 1st, Champion, and Supreme Shetland Champion.
N.P.S. Championships: Shetland Class: 2nd. Leyhills Small Breed Final 6th, ( she was top placed Shetland out of 25).
Pembrokeshire County: 2nd.
( all the 2nd's were to the beautiful Sharptor Trinity who finished 2nd in the Cuddy at HOYS).
Wemke is a lovely person, a great character who adores showing, but she does not like being in a stable on her own on Showgrounds, ( she is fine at home where she is out all day and stabled next to her friend every night).
