Tentively offered for sale rising 7 yr old chestnut gelding by Colbeach Nightlight out of a tb mare, has been measured 152.2cms. I purchased him earlier this year where he was being ridden and owned by a 11yr old girl who attended pony club and dressage, unfortunately she soon decided she wanted to jump/xc with her friends etc and he isnt the bravest.
He has such a beautiful gentle nature and temperament on the ground and ridden and really does try his best for you, before I purchased him he was unshown to date and since being with myself has had a fantastic first season under saddle. He has exceptional conformation and paces, straight moving and is blemish free.
I have registered him BSHA as a small riding horse and he stood 5th Bath and West and 7th Hoys at New Forest Show, I have also shown him successfully as a Show Hunter Pony with NPS, winning the Kellythorpe Qualifer at NPS Area 10 and coming 4th in the Final, he also won his novice SHP class and also won the final. Although he has done well in these classes he would be more suited to a Hack or ISRT. He gives the judges such a fantastic ride and you can always rely on him.
He was Reserve Champion Hack at Royal London Show and Reserve Champion Show Hunter Pony, also winning the pairs class for a bit of fun.
He has had numerous placings in hand such as sports pony, SHP as well as qualifying for the ottergayle final.
This boy really is so honest no need for endless hours warming up calmers or ear plugs, he hacks alone or in company, 100% with traffic box shoe clip, happy with his head and ears being done without headcollar on. He turns out with both mares and geldings although I do keep them seperate, loads lorry trailer or side loader. He will happily stand on the lorry while waiting for classes and dosent mind being left on his own.
He is still eligible for novice classes and the only reason I am considering selling him as I dont have the facilities to produce him further due to lack of school, he could do with taking more of a bigger step but I am certain his best is yet to come.
I would be open to sensible offers around £4500 for him he is open to any vet and happy to include delivery in his price, and more importantly I would like to view the home before letting him go.
Pictures and videos available on request.
