Over the decades, many Showing Competitors and indeed, Horse-Gossip people will have come across Alec, the loyal and oh! so incredibly supportive husband - truly the 'Duke of Edinburgh' to Mrs Pat Campbell, herself a previous Chairperson and then President (or equivalent) of the NPS, BHS, DPS, P(UK) etc.
Very sadly, following his lengthy and extremely brave fight against his very debilitating illness, Alec peacefully passed away on Boxing day, 26th December 2016.
In his own right, Alec was by profession a highly successful draftsman - and in his spare time, a stunning artist, as many will have acknowledged and indeed enjoyed, with the annual "Watersmeet Farm" Christmas Cards.
His Funeral will be on 16th January in Kent. Details to follow.

On a personal note, I will so miss your calm, measured wisdom and your wise words, so rare these days.
