Welcome To the Notts Derby Horse Show Schedule for 2017,
We work long and hard to bring you quality events in all spheres. We aim to get a good standard of judge, many being on numerous panels, teamed with quality awards and a friendly crew, with good safe show equipment and very good ground aim to bring you events from early spring through to autumn.
Unlike many shows you can enter, there are no membership requirements, all of our events are open to all that fit the criteria of the class wording then they choose to enter. We run a Free Loyalty Bonus scheme where you can collect points at events, get your card signed and verified per event, and then submit your card by the 1st October, fully completed by yourself, to be considered for awards. Everyone returning Cards on time will be put into the final for their age groups and also our top ten, with other awards along the way, at our presentation evening in November.
You are entirely responsible for Point Collection, this year there will be 2 cards
1 for Showing – In Hand, Ridden & Working Hunter
2 for other Events such as Show Jumping, Games, Handy Pony and Dressage Days
You need to attend 3 of the scheduled NOTTS DERBY dates shown on the schedule to be eligible, Presentation Tickets are limited due to size of function room, so please purchase early in the season.
We cannot forecast the weather, but generally, have good ground, but please follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with the current happenings.
We also need helpers at some events, and will train stewards (over 18) and can offer class credits or a token amount of pocket money – Must be willing to follow instructions and work hard – get in touch if you would like to help.
Judges per show will be listed on our Facebook and web pages. You will always save money pre entering the Wednesday before show at our Showing Shows, Show Jumping etc are done on the day.
