I'm looking to get a thicker noseband for my 12hh Welsh A (she's quite a chunky type!!!) What inch leather should I get for her 1" or 1 1/4".
Also who uses a plaited browband??

I use a plaited brow band. The thickness of the nose and very much depends on the pony. Are you wanting to make her head appear smaller or to break a white blaze?? You would be better to try them and see which looks best

I've used 1" nosebands on both my A's and my B. It just depends on the pony's head really, worth trying a few different widths on the pony to see what suits best. Had plaited browbands on all of them as well.
