I have a horse that is 150cm - very up in front and big moving. I know small hacks have to be over 148cm, but is 150cm enough or will we look tiny in the ring? I'm only just over 5ft 1 so I make it look bigger I'm just wondering do judges like them to be slightly bigger?

Have you already had your horse measured to be sure it is 150cm? Do you want to do hack classes because of your age? If you are under 25 have you considered the intermediate classes?
I think most people will say if the horse is good enough height shouldn't matter. However, the horse will have to have all the qualities and manners of a hack. There are some very successful small hacks measuring 153cm already out competing and being placed well at major shows.
Read up on the description and type for a hack in the BSHA rule book. (British Show Horse Association) No disrespect intended but the horse certainly shouldn't look like an over height show pony.

for a hack it will depend on how it rides, if your horse rides big then it should hold it's own. Is it pb something? That could be another avenue for you. I think it also depends on how you view your showing, is it a hobby and fun or do you have to be in the ribbons? I do understand that everyone wants to be judged fairly, but if you only enjoy showing if you win or are placed then maybe have a re-think.
