Will i be eligible to compete in the Hoys Junior qualifiers if i am a member of the TSR or does this class require me to be a member of BSPS?

Yes you will
However if you also wish to do the RIHS Junior classes you would need to be a member of PUK (This membership would cover you for HOYS junior qualifiers as well)

Hi TSR membership is good for HOYS Junior MM plus all other pony classes, MM, Int and all Coloureds plus you have over £40 of other benefits.

All HOYS pony classes (plaited and M&M) are covered by membership of any of the relevant pony societies. So you can be a member of NPS. BSPS, TSR or Ponies (UK) and if you have a M&M pony you can also be a member of the relevant breed society.

Membership of TSR is really good value if you only want to do the HOYS junior qualifiers and other TSR classes. The cost of course becomes a nightmare if you want to do other qualifiers - RIHS/Olympia need to be BSPS (or PUK if doing the Junior/Amateur classes) and NPS if you want to do their classes and Championship show (they do have Junior classes). If you do decide to join one of the other societies that will also cover you for HOYS Juniors. Good Luck.

I quite agree chloesmum it is a nightmare but some co operation and less restrictions on membership for qualifiers would help competitors and be a really good thing to do but I fear unlikely to happen soon !
