Just had a bit of a fright tonight with a youth in a blue VW caddy van casing our ponies - he has been reported to the police and they were going to try to pull him - yep, they showed an inordinate amount of interest in our coloured youngster driving past us 3 times - police advise is in the run up to Appleby for us to move them. Keep an eye out folks, particularly in north of the county.

I hate the run up to Appleby and even more so lea gap fair which is less than 2 miles from us. Hope everything is ok and the police catch up with him.
We had Maisie's rabbits stolen from our garden Easter Monday night but there has been a lot of rumblings that the Eastern European fraternity are doing this for food. What is this country coming to, I'm disgusted.

Sorry to hear of your pets Philippa. Around here people have stopped putting goldfish in ponds in their front gardens. I gather that these are also considered a delicacy in the same area.

Yes GW you are right. It was in the papers recently about them taking the fish from the fishing lakes down the road from here. |
