Does anyone have any hints and tips on showing/turnout of native coloured ponies?
I've seen a mix of white halter and bitted leather bridles/slips. What is recommended for a yearling. It seems a real mix out there!

For native coloured youngstock either is acceptable. A lot choose to use a white halter but if you feel you need to bit then a leather in-hand bridle is fine.
Leather slips are less 'correct' but still acceptable.
Obviously colts need to be bitted according to the rules of the show/society in question - most it's 2yo onwards but some shows do require yearling colts to be bitted.
