I am looking for a loan pony for my 8 year old grandson, who is still very much a novice. He enjoys Pony Club, hacking and general fun stuff with his sister , but I am finding it hard to find a suitable first ridden. I don't want a world beater, just a little kind pony who has taught other children the ropes, who will forgive mistakes, not buck , rear, nap or tank off. Surely someone has an outgrown pony they can't part with who still would like a job to do? In return, we can offer a kind knowledgeable home surrounded by countryside and by the beach, kept at home outside the house. The pony would have a quiet life, not overworked, with company. Age, sex, looks immaterial, but prefer older pony who has done it all before. Cumbria/ north Lancs area. References from vet, farrier, Pony Club DC available. Thanks for reading. Would buy if right price.

hi there,
ive just seen your ad, that you are looking for a nice quiet pony? are you still looking?
I have a section a gelding, nothing special, but he is an angel with children, and great for teaching them the ropes.. he has been out of work for quite some time now as he has no real job anymore, hes pretty much become a field ornament and I would love him to go out on loan to a nice quiet family who could bring him slowly back into work. the only thing is its light duties only for him as he has stiffness through his back, but with the right work he could be strengthened back up and get back to work, hes only 13 and still has plenty left to give, ive owned him for nearly 10 years now and hes always been a pleasure..
if you are still looking and you think he might be suitable feel free to pm me.. my email is llanidan@live.co.uk
thank you for reading

Hi, I'm so sorry for not replying to you sooner, I found a pony locally quite quickly, so sort of forgot that I had put this post on! Thank you so much for replying, your pony sounds a dear little thing, I would certainly have been interested if I hadn't already found one. I hope you find a perfect home. xx
