saddle fitter who can widen saddle on site

The width of the saddle is governed by the tree and although minor adjustments can be made by removing stuffing they are just that, very minor and if you remove too much the points of the tree will make the pony sore. So be wary of someone that says they can sort out the problem if it is going to be more than a minor adjustment.

Paul Hutchinson, saddler, have used him for years, very reliable .. he will come out to your place and also checks saddle whilst you are riding on it and can widen on site if needed paulhutchinsonsaddler.co.uk/contact.html

Paul is an excellent saddle fitter and very honest too. I just wish he would come over to St Helens still, as last time I rang him he said it was too far away sadly
