OH said she suffering,i told him to give the steroids a chance to work. i hand reared her from 3 days old and i nursed her back after a fox attack so as you can imagine she is like a 9 year old daughter to me as i have no children,i really dont want to have to make the desicion to have her put down.

Has vet given her some pain relief? She's not an old cat so I think you should give her a chance to fight back, if the time comes I think you'll know. See how she is overnight.

How is she this morning? If still not eating and drinking, could you ask the vets to keep her in and put her on a drip? They did with my old boy, when he was poorly last year. He stayed in 3 days, until the infection had gone and he was eating again. He is 13 years.
