Ring up the helpline and ask? That would help make the point that they don't share enough info' to the customers too!

I went to our local feed merchant the other day - and was asking about molasses content of their feeds and they said that 'all feeds have molasses as a binding agent' is that true?

Muesli type feeds tend to, not so much pellets. Look for the white labels sewn into the seams of feed bags and they will give the ingredients in descending order of inclusion.

Do bare in mind that amount fed of a product needs to be taken into consideration when looking at percentages. With a product fed in small quantities such as a balancer, even a relatively high percentage of sugar will be less overall amount of sugar than a lower percentage feed that's fed in larger quantities.

Molasses will be on the ingredients, white label on the bag. Looking at the nutritional information you can see the DE, the starch would make up the majority of it. In relation to the amount being fed even if it had molasses to bind it, it would be very little. There is sugar present in a lot of foods, and all food are converted into sugar for the body to use, its the spikes from fructose and starch that you have to worry about, hence why more oil is now fed
