Will clipping palomino lose the dapples on his coat ?
what shampoo is best to keep colour ?
Does feeding any supplement help retain the colour ?
Any help would be much appreciated ,

I think a good healthy diet and lots of grooming is probably the best way but i feed mine a little bit of oil which keeps their coats nice and shiney  I also use a chestnut shampoo for the chestnut and a coloured one for the coloured, not sure if this makes a difference or not though. |

When my palominos were being produced to show, they were a much deeper colour than when at home on grass, but what it is in the diet that made the difference I don't know! The difference was definitely in diet, not grooming, oil or choice of shampoo though.
