I have successfully rehabilitated a suspensory branch injury if that helps? (Not disease?)

Yes, it will be 5 years in May since he injured himself and all still good (I still touch wood when I say that, lol!). He’s had a very successful ridden showing career since and has just retired from the ring to be a Happy hacker/maybe (if I’m brave enough) hunter.
It took almost a full 12 months to get him back to full work. I rehabbed him 100% to the letter of my vets rehab plan.. Never missed a single day of his plan, did not rush it in any way and was super thorough. He had PRP injected into the injury site, 2 weeks box rest then started walking. Started at 10 mins twice a day and over 6 months, built to an hour and a half walk hacking. Then we moved on to trotting, 10 strides at a time at first, straight lines on tarmac, after about 8 months he started gradual school work and was back in the ring at 11 months. Turn out was restricted until 9 months. It was tough. But I believe the time and effort was worth it. He also wore Ice Vibe boots every single day. At first with and without the ice, then after 3 months just before work without ice to warm his legs before his work.
He did spend a few weeks at a rehab yard, mainly due to work commitments and lack of time for all the walking. Yard was excellent and I would highly recommend if you need that facility.
He’s been left with a thickened ligament, which I can see, but to others I don’t think it’s as obvious as I think and has never held him back (2nd at RIHS, 4th at HOYS amongst many others) or been commented on by a single judge.
Time, effort and patience!!!
