Entries are now open for the NCPA TRAINING CLINIC & TRAINING SHOW CLASSES at Harrogate Equestrian Centre, Harrogate HG3 1PW on SATURDAY 17th FEBRUARY - see www.thencpa.co.uk for full details The morning has sessions for all types: In Hand, Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ponies & Horses with the excellent "Team Wood" trainers (Jack Cochrane, Nigel Hollings & Michaela Wood) with a variety of show classes in the afternoon to put everything you have learned into practise and receive feedback from the judges. The group training sessions will have limited numbers, so book early to avoid disappointment. The afternoon classes may also be entered on their own, & are qualifiers for POYS as well as the championships having Golden Ticket qualifications Get your season off to a flying start |

This Training clinic with Training show classes is an ideal opportunity to get your animals in the ring without any undue pressure, with time to correct faults, improve way of going, gain ringcraft tips etc Ideal for total novices &/or those wishing to brush up their skills after the winter lay off, or bring out new combinations. The 2018 season starts soon for NCPA:
The Training Clinic & Training Show is at Harrogate EC HG3 1PW on SATURDAY 17th FEBRUARY.
There are training sessions for all ages & types of animal (& rider!) from In Hand, Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ponies, Coloureds, M&Ms, Horses, Retrained Race Horses & everything in between!
Please take advantage of this excellent start to your showing in 2018 - top tips on making your animal stand out to the judge - where marks are won & lost! Plus actual show classes to put it all into practise with opportunities to qualify for the Pony of the Year Show PLUS GOLDEN TICKETS for the section championships.
Remember - these Golden Supremes have free entry at POYS plus £1000 prize money to the In Hand & Ridden sections.
Also this is the clinic where the NCPA TRAINING BURSARY is awarded for further training - you have to be in it to win it - just imagine not only further training at no extra cost, but maybe your chance to win BIG MONEY at POYS

Update on the entries so far:
Clinic sessions - none in the I/H, First Ridden or Horses (Open to NCPA members & non members)
Show classes with feed back from the judge (These can be entered separately from the clinic sessions!)
Class 1 - 1, Class 2 - 0, Class 3 - 2, Class 4 - 1, Class 5 - 2, Class 6 - 1, Class 7 - 1, Class 8 - 1, Class 9 - 1, Class 10 - 1 & Class 11 - 0
Clicic sessions PRE ENTRIES ONLY & this includes a free showing class entry.
Show classes only: Pre entries Members £5, Non Members £10 - all entries on the day £15 cash only

The entries for the clinic close at midnight tomorrow (Feb 15th) & also the cheap rate pre entries for the Training Show classes
Entries are taken on the day for these classes but as we have had a fairly limited response we do not expect the afternoon to take very long.
If you are intending to compete - why not save some money & pre enter or make sure that you are there for 12.30

Thank you & well done to everyone who attended yesterday's clinic & training show. Some excellent progress was made by all & some very worthy combinations who used the opportunity in the afternoon to pick up early qualifications for the President's Cup, the Chairman's Cup and the coveted Golden Tickets - we look forward to seeing you all on September 9th at POYS (Warren Farm L37 8DJ)
