my daughters have competed in lots of working hunter pony classes over the years but a while ago the youngest moved onto horses. our new horse was shown on the flat last year and did well, and has an amazing jump, so we are thinking of doing some working hunter classes this season. i just have absolutely no idea what society/societies we would need to join for this, especially if we eventually want to try some rihs and hoys qualifiers. can anyone help?

Sports Horse GB & BSHA.
Google both. Both have very informative websites - you can then call the Secretary/ies for more assistance. If your daughter is under 25 and wishes to compete BSPS Intermediate - and the animal does not exceed 158cm (will need a JMB certificate if you chose to pursue the big qualifiers), then you would need to join the BSPS as well. But if you've competed in affiliated pony WHP you will be familiar with those rules already.
The WH section is great - strong tracks / lovely competitors. Good luck!
