Hi, Can anyone help me.
I have entered Royal Welsh for the first time this year, and have booked into stables from sunday to thursday. Presuming I get stables I am taking 3 horses down, so will be 2 trailers.
Will there still be places to park on horsehill if we arrive about 1pm on sunday? And we are planning on sleeping in one trailer and putting feed ect in the other, can we put a Gazebo up in between to sit in in the day?
Will there be bedding there at that time?
Thanks

There's always room but you may be further down and therefore further from the stables. I assume you've requested an additional pass if you're taking 2 trailers? They are very strict! Bedding is delivered late evening each day but there's a bit of a scramble to get it when it's arrived so take some just in case. And yes normally plenty of room for a Gazebo. Hope this helps!!

The worse show! Not horse friendly although better if you have a Welshie. The roads are dreadful from whichever direction you are travelling from. Be prepared for the parades.. you take your life in your hands.

I am hoping to take down 3 Welsh Cobs 2 of which are mine, and one is a friends. We have entered separately so I presume she will get a pass and so will I. Further Down, does that mean closer to the stables or closer to the entrance to horse hill. Hoping to put a marque up in between the trailers.
Thanks for your help I am a little less worried about it all now. So We are coming down from North Wales, and are hoping to be there about 12ish on the sunday, I presume they tell you the best places to park ect.
(complete novice) Thanks guys

I do not think they will allow you to put up a marque between the stables, parking is at a premium, no BBQs are allowed. My advise is to contact the office in writing or email and ask if you can do this, if they say yes have a copy of the reply on you when you go to the show.

TBH the majority of shows now say no BBQ or tents/etc but if you adhere to this nobody else will anyway and you'll feel a bit cheated so get to the show, get yourselves set up and enjoy it. If they ask you to take the tent down then fair enough but I very much doubt they will. I love RW but have to say that I prefer to park at the bottom of the hill in the car park cos when you're there for a week that walk is a killer!!!!! Lol. You'll have a ball. Enjoy.
PS, when we go to BSPS champs the first thing we do before getting the ponies off is to get the gazebo up at the side of the lorry, stops the next one in parking too close, get your space and stick to it. It's a bit of a free for all in these showground lorry parks.
