What are peoples opinions on coloured (red) trousers for in hand showing? I normally stick to the traditional beige or dark depending on the pony but ive noticed a lot more people wearing red trousers and wondered what people thought, I don’t know whether to risk it and go for burgundy or play it safe and stick to what I know

tbh the colour of the trousers should not make any difference, however from a practical purpose darker trousers are far more practical. We used to wear navy.

Lol I think it’s all down to whether you can carry the colour off, it suits your pony & whether you are going to stand out for the right reasons not the wrong ones.
I wore the pretty ponies pink tweed on my coloured cos I thought it was amazing. Sadly the judges hadn’t the same opinion but that was nearly 15 years ago now and times have moved on.
Go for it.
