WPCS, and I expect other societies, require name of sire/dam to check the pony's DNA against, they can't just conjure them up from the offspring sample. But the best thing to do would be to talk to the society concerned. No chance of checking back through the passport to find the breeder?

If you know who the sire and dam are I think a DNA can be used to prove parentage, but I don't think you can find who the sire and dam are if you don't know parentage. As far as registering, that will be up to the relevant society.
