Ryan is only for sale as my daughter will be leaving for university.
He is 146.5cm gelding, 10 this year but has not been over shown etc having never competed before we purchased him in 2015.
He has proven a very versitile pony so far; qualifying for the Royal International in the Ponies UK flats on his second attempt in 2015 and the workers on his first attempt in 2017 where he actually received the joint highest confirmation mark (with one other) of the class at the final, in addition to collecting a second round mitsubishi Badminton BE90 although we did not contest the second round as the dates clashed with my A- levels. He is a xc machine and loves his job so we believe that he would do the 100’s with ease if his eventing was pursued.
Ryan is sired by Rynn Richards and out of Derrartha Birdie, making him 2/3rds brother to the HOYS and RIHS champion Labernum Richard among many other successful working hunter Connemaras.
He would be best suited for a kind sympathetic, rider, looking to BE ,WH or SJ. He has the potential to excel in any sphere with much more to come. He is a very easy pony to keep and be around with no problem to bath/ shoe/load/clip although needs sedating for teeth. Ryan’s full medical history is available and he is open to vetting. Genuine, sad sale.
