We are thinking of using a hack type stallion possibly next year and just wondered what was available. Must have excellent temperament, conformation and movement, not over 15.2hh. Any recommendations please.

This offer has just popped up and gives you more information: 🌸♥️♥️May Day Special♥️♥️🌼 ❤️Valentines special was such a success. We have some beautiful mares here and more on their way, so I have decided it’s time for another special offer❤️ 🌼☘️Free Grass Keep🍀🌸 ♥️mares can stay for 4 weeks free of charge as long as stud fee is paid in advance♥️ ♥️We need to keep breeding top class horses♥️This year will see many very exciting 4yo come out under saddle by Leander❤️so don’t waste time come on down to sunny Devon☀️ We use the very best vet Stringer Equine and together we are extremely successful at getting mares in foal that previously other studs have been unsuccessful. Please share and also sorry for all the tags, feel free to untag. ❤️Stud Fee £500❤️ LEANDER stallion at stud Brown 158cm He has proven a very successful sire of Hacks, Riding Horses and Hunters with numerous champions up and down the country at county and championship shows. Power of love, cuddy finalist 2015, champion hack breeding bath and west. Brown Panther Hack Champion first time out Area 5 Too many youngstock successes at county level to list. Etheridge Annie is his first runner under rules and has been placed on her first three outings, proving he's going to be such a versatile stallion. Leander himself ran four times, being fourth at Kempton, second at Salisbury, then running creditably in the Derby and in a two mile Group 3 at Royal Ascot when he finished lame (as did a number of horses affected by a patch of false going at that meeting). Leander has beautiful conformation and fabulous movement. He is a super character with an excellent, unflappable temperament. He is a perfect pattern of a Top Class Show Riding Horse, with the movement and self-carriage required. He also has the substance - almost nine inche bone - and athleticism to produce eventers. His high class staying pedigree and the ability he showed on the racecourse makes him an excellent prospect as a sire of National Hunt horses and Point-to-Pointers. Sire: Kalanisi Leander's sire, Kalanisi was bred by the Aga Khan and was the Breeders Cup Turf and Champion Stakes winner and the Cartier Older Horse of the Year. He is the sire of KATCHIT - the winner of the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in 2008. Dam: Guest of Anchor Leander's dam, Guest of Anchor, won eight races and was placed ten times in France, winning £77,532 and is the dam of one winner so far. £500 nffr For more details please call me on 07778937728

Thanks Philippa, I like the look of Alonby Artisan. We have used Nightlight before, but unfortunately the mare didn't get in foal.

Ah right. That’s a shame. I’m going to Alan Charlesworth for my RP mare this time but only a 12hh stallion. Not sure what else he stands

Comberton Cadet We have just had a beautiful colt by him this year. So pleased to hear that Cadet is still going strong. Another I would recommend, I personally knew this boy when he was a youngster, he has such a lovely nature, and of course he qualified for the Cuddy and was a prolific winner in the ring.
