As the title really, I've tried to google it but can't find anything for HOYS showing classes.

It is a banned substance under FEI rules so I think it would be for all the Societies if the horse should be tested.

As the title really, I've tried to google it but can't find anything for HOYS showing classes. As "Thelwell" has said . . Prascend is the licenced name of the controlled drug Pergolide - commonly used for patients with Cushings. Therefore, it would be considered a performance-enhancing drug and as such, a banned substance. What the rules might be for the Senior / Veteran Societies is another matter, they possibly may be more lenient.

Why not ring relevant society and ask. That’s what they’re there for asking about rules I’ve found them all very helpful in the past.

You can do SSADL, not sure about VHS but I don’t think you can for other societies as it is prohibited

Definately not. I’m not sure about veterans but under all other societies it is a banned substance.

Would you mind answering why you are making this inquiry As I have a horse that has just tested positive for cushings, he is only 8 and I would have liked to have done a few HOYS qualifiers next year. Not because I think we will qualify, but they are a nice weekend get away and a catch up with people I usually only see at shows. I thought it was the case, thank you everyone for your replies...…… we will just have some fun locally x
