Hi all. Sorry if this isn't particularly relevant to this site, but I don't know where out I can reach out to for some advice. I would rather not be posting this all over social media!
I unfortunately made the mistake to begin a relationship with a not great guy... Long story short, together for 2 years, split up. And then a few months after this I noticed some odd transactions on my bank account. Figured out it was him as he had my bank details saved on his phone, money for hotels, tools for work, and even his car insurance. Totalling to just shy of 2k. Obviously I was furious, phoned him up totally in rage and stupidly believed he would pay me back as he said he would. This is now 6 months ago and nil!
What exactly can I do? I don't believe to much in the small claims court as have had to go down that route before for another matter and was extremely difficult, more expense and always seemed to work in the defendants favour.
I'm just totally stumped!

To start off with tell your bank, I would then go to the Police as this is theft. You have hi-lighted the importance of keeping your bank details private and checking your account statements. Good luck.
