After a lot of soul searching we have decided to sell our 13.1 hh 6 year old Grey Section B gelding.
He was broke towards the end of summer last year and hunted during the winter a few times proving to be very mannerly putting far older ponies to shame. He went to a jump cross just a month after being broken and jumped round clear all on his own.
He is good in all ways and has a temperament to die for. Unfortunatly my daughter has grown so much and is too big for him. Because of this we have done the workers. and he has a huge jump, he is currently jumping clears round the Open Heritage and Shearwaters and althought we have only done about 5 shows has been placed in every class that we have entered.
This is even more suprising as my daughter has never ever done workers before and we have no facilities at home at all so the only time he ever sees a fence is at a show. Nothing seems to phase him and he is very brave over a fence. He has seen water trays, doubles, and really scarey fillers and never bothered.
He will definatly do the hoys workers but obviously needs a few more miles on the clock this year
He is full Eyarth bred so the best is yet to come with him as they are they dont seem to mature till they are 6 - 7 year old. He has a lovely welsh head and good movement. We have not done flat ridden classes as my daughter is so big that the picture looks wrong hence doing workers where it doesnt matter so much. He is good enought to do the flat classes but with a pop like he has it seems a shame not to keep at the worker classes with him. We have done the Welsh medal shows in hand with him and has always been placed.
He has no lump or bumps and no quirks whatsover. He has hacked out alone from being broke and is used to heavy traffic. He is such a loveable pony and it is such a shame that we have to sell him. He will make someone as really good friend as well as a top class performance pony.
I am having problems in getting photos on here but am happy to email the few that we have. We are based in Sheffield and he is open to any trial and he is such a straight pony.
please pm me for more information
Due to the current climate I will be taking far less than I wanted last year and would like £2950 for him
