i am angry. how dare madonna adopt children with living relatives. i notice she never chooses the skinny little ugly one with cross eyes, scabs and one leg. with the thousands of orphans out there surely she can find one that is more desperate. how long before she spots an english child she fancies.

I cant see the point in adopting one child, If you genuinely want to help why not invest in an education programme for the children so they can grow up and live a different life for themselves!
It rather like give a man food and he can feed himself for a day give him seeds and he can feed himself and his family for a year!

Totally agree bmj when they are going to be actually cared for by a succession of nannies anyway. Why not donate money toan educational foundation that will benefit many not just one who probably grow up really confused anyway. Poor mite. Just seems like another celebrity wanting a child "accesory"

Well I disagree - I can't see any problems with anyone adopting any child. No matter who the child is or where they come from. Madonna can offer that child a better existance than they already have. They will not want for love, food, clothes or education while they are growing up. No matter what they will grow up much better off and will lead much better adult lives than they would if they were not educated, fed, clothed or given love.
OR Would you prefer the child died of malnutrition?

If Madonna give cash to the needy, credit to her, but she can spare it, so I think all celebrities with inflated bank balances should take a leaf out of her book.
What I think is wrong is for her to take a child away from it's own relatives, background and culture, OK so that child will have all the advantages that money can buy, but it's not always about money is it? I hope that she at least takes the children back to their villages for visits, and lets them keep in touch with their blood relatives. I seriously wonder how those kids will feel when they are old enough to understand what has happened to them.

If she really wants to adopt the child she has to live there for 18 months, now she has plenty of money and doesnt need to work so can easily take 18 months off, why doesnt she just move there if she professes to want to adopt and to love this child? would love to hear her answer.

madonna gives a lot of money to third world charities. i also think its fine for her to adopt a child. no one objects to angela jolie adopting. what is wrong is that she sees a child she wants and must have it, this is a child not a puppy. david had a father. this little girl has a grandmother that she will go to when she is older, what worres me is that madonna is richer than most so does that mean she would give a better home to any child from a poor family. we all know how messed up mega rich celebrities children are. money is not a pre requisite to love or happiness.

Apart from giving a few quid on red nose day I havn't helped these poor starving mites at all. So i'm not going to throw stones at someone who has. And who is to know, Madonna probably does make huge charitable donations to the countries she adopts children from. We rescued a pony from a terrible place, and a horrific future. We can't save them all, mores the pity, but one, is better than none. Well put overbent. Similar here, and I share your views.

Can you imagine the advert:-
Small boy for sale to Good Home Only. Very good looking, would def show to county standard. Well handled but still "bites" occasionally, but should grow out of it!
Lively and enquisitive nature, therefore not for Novice or inexperienced handler..........!
Extremely cheap to keep as only eats processed food, unless force fed. (WARNING - this may cause projectile vomiting) - Vegetables/organic meals, not necessary!
Requires very little sleep and large amounts of exercise, so only hyperactive homes need apply!

Lovepink I just love your idea for the advert for small boy for sale! I am going to sit down and devise adverts for my three hooligans! I am sorry to put the cat among the pigeons though, I have to say I think it is very sad that Madonna was unable to adopt that little girl. she has said that she hoped her present son and the little girl would one day go back to Malawi one day to help thier country and thier people. I totally agree with norahsnek

I'm desperately short of a small but capable rider so if any one has one that would like to sell I would be very interested. Must be capable rider(Carl Hester or above), 12 yrs old, under 8 stone, mute, capable of mucking out quickly and efficiently and have removable batteries or prepared to live in cupboard when not required. Photographs/video proving ability to ride at Grand Prix level and trial period required.
No fancy prices or timewasters please!!

Never mind for sale - free to good homes!!
1 small female jockey 9 years old - always guaranteed to cause uproar wherever she goes, proven show stopper, particularly at Champs!
1 too tall for her 133cms WHP 13 year old hormonal teenager, reasonably useful rider, guaranteed to do anything for anyone so long as its not Mum!

I would be willing to sell my teenage filly at times!!!...... Very pretty filly 16 years old,but does have an attitude and needs an experienced handler! Fairly well schooled but has been known to nap when faced with the school bus on a Monday morning. Can be difficult to catch when you want to get her in for the night. Shoeing can also be a problem due to the amount of shoes she owns and the length of time it takes for her to decide which pair to wear. Good to have her hair straightened, make up applied, and perfume sprayed on! Comes with an extensive wardrobe of low cut tops, mini skirts and tight jeans. Her GHD hair straighteners must be applied daily other wise she will refuse to leave her stable!!

Yeah.......... My son has special needs and all the specialists say he "MUST BE ENCOURAGED" with this pony riding, as its "THE BEST POSSIBLE EXERCISE" for his condition, bla bla bla. They will pay for him to have a wobble cushion to sit on at school, but do they pay for his Dressage Saddle? I think not!
If only I could claim for the cost of his pony/training/competitions on the NHS... wouldnt that be something!
NEVER GONNA HAPPEN............!
