Equifest is fab, we had a great time last year, if you have any problems they are delt with straight away, and nothing is too much trouble for any of the officials. We are defo going

Do you have to qualify for everything?

Post by skewbaldrocker on May 20, 2009 13:24:59 GMT
No you don't have to qualify for everything, lots of Open classes and I think you can qualify for the champ classes at the show.

yeah you can qualify for the champ classes at the show. Ive had a schedule sent through from east of england and there are soooooooo many classes for all the different types, there's home produced to. Really good choice to suit everyone.

I've qualified, and never been before - well never been to anything like this actually because this is my first season doing "proper" showing lol - only did the odd local show last year. I'm a bit nervous and don't know what to expect. Not sure whether to go or not, I feel a bit out of my depth.

We would have loved to come but there are no classes for us with an Intermediate Working Hunter - or am I being daft?

Hi bundle- ive just had a quick look as i had a timetable next to me and there are some Intermediate Workers, there's the open, a restricted and there's an open whp ex 153cms, there is a style and performance to. Have a look on the equifest website and the schedule is on there. From what i can see the Intermediate Worksers you dont have to qualify for either as the Championship classes all start with Equifest and those dont say it.
Hope this helps ;D

I Loved Equifest last year!!!! Everyone was so friendly and ready to help! Classes were good value for money (think only a tenner a class!) stabling was fab!!! majority of stables were all undercover!! indoor arena was good-could of done with being a tad bigger IMO. Only thing I will say is bring your own feed and bedding if your staying, they have a feed store that you can buy from but everything was expensive- I think from what I can remember they were charging nearly £4 for 1 bale of straw!!
Fantastic show though, Im sooooo excited bout going this year, I have just got to decide which beasts to take ;-)
