Well done Alex and the committee of Ribble Valley for holding a brill show, what a fantastic turnout. I can see this Easter show becoming a big anual event.

thanks alex! we had a superb day and felt like we had really achieved something with our 4 year old boy. [no, we didn't win! we were 4th in the novice] was pleased with how we were judged and how our boy coped in a very busy situation. looking forward to your next show!

The turnout for this show was massive, my 4 yr old Gadabout was 2nd in the pba, he was the smallest in the ring, there were accidents due to so many riders in the class. He showed wonderful manners and I was thrilled.

Hi everyone, yes the turnout was far greater than what we were expecting which lead to a few logistical problems in terms of keeping to the schedule and parking, and yes there were a few loose schooled horses in the rings, but thats normal for the first show of the season.
I didn't get to watch many classes due to parking people up etc but of what I did see I was VERY VERY impressed by the standard of ponies/horses there, it was as good if not better than any county show, anyone who was placed certainly earned it, everyones ponies were immaculate and you would have thought it was midsummer they looked so well with their coats gleaming, a real credit to the competitors. All the judges commented on it.
The Inhand judge was Miss Livesy and Mr Lloyd.
Have to say a big thank-you to Kelly and her team at Myerscough for her advice and guidance and practical help, all the committee members/judges/stewards for working like pitt-ponies for most of the day and of course to the competitors who probably had their patience and tolerance levels tested at least once throughout the day!

Wow it was definately a long day, the classes were huge not what I expected at all, i didnt leave the show until gone 6pm and there were still classes going on, well done to the comittee because although it was a long day and the classes took a lot longer than expected to get through you kept us informed via the tannoy at all times. The standard of horses was amazing with many producers turning up, so as Alex said well done to those that were placed we certainly worked hard for those placings Oh and would just like to add I was very impressed with my rosette, they were very unusual and very special
