The welsh C ideally should have the knee action over the straight 'daisy cutter' movement for tradition of the welsh C. Not moving just from the front end line a puppet on a string but also with impulsion from the behind and engaging of the hocks, i HATE to see any horse not going anywhere and not covering the ground!

High knee action but they need to move obv if it was just straight and flashy it wouldnt be a c that is a c's movement! or originally it was, so deffo knee action but still must cover ground!

give me the action where the hock drives well forward so the knee goes up and then extends the movement out through the shoulder enabling more ground to be covered, prob not explained well but I do not like the knee action that goes up and down thumpathumpathumpa with going no where, no good if you want to sit to it!
I love my ground covering hock action - I would say the photo of the Pentrefelin one the way my own travel over the ground, I would find those with too much knee action not as nice to ride
