Whenever l put anything up on this site there always seems to be a very limited response..but lots of viewings.The ones that do respond are always very nice replies but always from the same people....Perhaps l have just got ponies etc that no one else likes..
I don't think l will bother posting anymore pictures as it really isn't worth the time and effort to do it..
I am sure l can't be the only one that feels like this when they come onto this site..

Giddie I don't think it's that people dislike your ponies. I personally enjoy the pictures, but I think this site is quite different from a lot of others, and I think perhaps people come on here for a lot of different reasons. Not everyone has the time to visit all areas of the site, but I hope that won't stop you from sharing the photos with us.

i must say i agree with giddie.i got a baby pic up at the moment which hasnt had 1 reply.
i also dont feel like posting pics anymore.i alwys comment on other peoples pics.

i get emails from horse and hound with the latest news so i post them on my favourite forums for you all to read then i get told to stop posting doom and gloom and only post happy things.if i do that i dont get any response just like giddie said

To be honest I sometimes look at the pictures post but very rarely put a reply on - just like looking. Having that said I was amazed this week at how many replies (and even pms) I had when I put pictures on. Maybe it just depends if people are busy and just have a quick look but no time to reply. I will try and reply actually on the thread if people are getting upset - instead of just thinking to myself -ooh that's nice!!!!

I personally don't think it is just pictures..it can be anything and seems to be the select few that get lots of responses..Prehaps it is just me. I find it strange that some people put up a post and it can have 200-300 hits and 90 odd replies while others can have the same amount of hits and get 5-6 replies..The whole thing seem to be so unbalanced..Like l said earlier perhaps it is just me or they are just not intresting enough threads for people to respond to..

if people dont get a response from their posts they will stop posting them. i know most people on forums work and are busy and cant reply straight away though as i dont always reply first time i read them. |
