called at Robys a few weeks ago for a pony turnout and stable rug. 4ft 9" or 5ft. Guess what i thought i was at Derby House as they hadnt got anything in those sizes.. Called again today for some kidys jods size 20/ 22 for spring/summer wear, guess what they had none to fit, the black/blue nylon ones in that size would have been ok on a lanky 5ft child but not a 6 yr old, Once again i came away without what i went for, thats the last time i go to DH or Robinsonms. Alsager Saddlery usually stock what i want they have a good range of everything and are very helpfull, its just the opposite direction to the way i usually travel.

There are always small size rugs on ebay. I can never get 6'6"as it is such a popular size.

I have no idea what kids were used to model the Robbies pull up starter jods, but I'm sure they bear no resemblance to any child I know!!! My daughter is 5, and grew out of the age 5-6 jods (length not width) 2 years ago. She now needs the length from the 9-10 jods (not that she's the height of a 9 year old, but the sizings are weird!) but the waist wraps around her twice! On my last visit to Derby House, I was lucky enough to find 18" long show joddies that fit her perfectly, along with 2 pairs of navy jods off the bargain rail - 20" regular, also fit perfectly (someone explain that please : and £5 per pair. Bargain!

I have also been to robinsons and went to derby house the other day and they do not seem to have much stock think they where both better before they got bigger shops. Went to oakfield and got everything that I wanted.
