my lovely black and white cat Fizz (better known as Fidge to me and my little sis  ) is having her first litter of kittens! we think sh'es five weeks gone because her teats  are pink and she's starting to put on weight. she also doesn't like my sis touching her belly, and sleeps all the time. its her first litter, so any tips welcome  |

She will be absolutely fine. Just let her get on with it, without any fuss. Let her be quiet, from now till they are born. She will need lots of energy to feed them. We would all love to see the photos when they are born?

we had a litter born yesterday 3 dead unfort but 3 alive and well and now snoozing with mum ! xx

Shame about the dead ones, bit its fairly normal. Least she hasnt got too many mouths to feed!

I had to help Lillywhite have her babies, she was useless, she had a breach (sorry if spelt incorrect) which I had to help. All was well in the end but she hated it. Good luck with the kittens, put pics on.

Good luck with them.  I've only ever had rescue cats which are always neutered before I get them, but would love a litter of kittens some time. |
