If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of this tack there is a reward offered. We are all devastated - this tack has been gathered for around 10 years - much off it is very sentimental to us.

Claire, i will have a look to see what i have got, it may only be work tack but if that helps let me know. I know the feeling it is awful when mine was taken as i had collected mine over the years. We will all keep an eye out for you.

I would definately say try Wickham Fair next week. Always seems to be lots of things nicked around this time - sure it is then passed round there. Be worth having a trip down there yourself Chloe - you never know you might find some of it, although as boots and saddles says unless marked it will be difficult to prove - worth a try thou

I really do feel so sorry for you folks as l experienced the very same thing 10 years ago now whilst living in the South East.. Lost every single thing acquired over about 30yrs..including the rugs off the horses backs, leaving my thoroughbred terrified (so god knows what they did to him) and a very valuable racing saddle ridden by a jockey who was placed in the National.. It was given to me when l was 14yrs old you can never replace this sort of stuff.. It may not seem much but it is everything to the individual involved. My heart really goes out to you, haven't got any suggestions as have moved miles away now but good luck..and l am thinking of you..

tack is difficult to identify as with a pony you have a passport with the markings to go on which proves ownership.i however am quite prepared to put up a poster for you.

heathers as i have found out recently passports do not prove ownership, all it gives you is a detailed description of the pony. wicham fare is this wednesday, could we have a discription of tack and brand name size etc so we can take a look for you. posters would be a good idea, heathers you are so kind to put your self forward to do the posters, i know i was very grateful when you done mine for me. its so bloody fustrating when your stuff gets pinched even when insured the cost of saddle fit and checks are not covered and we all have that saddle that we ride in thats taken years to mould to the shape of our arse. i hope the person that stole your stuff gets a bloody run of bad luck.

i think we should put posters up and hand out flyers stating that a reward is offered. There were lots of unusual bits stolen, stirrups, leathers, fylde bridles, fylde saddles, leather girths, inhand bridles,. Heathers perhaps you could pm Chardonnay and agree the poster/flyer and we can then distribute them. These people need to be stopped there is too much of this going on.
