Had my beloved cat JJ's mot on Thursday morning Jabs weight etc, all fine apart from him having lost a bit of weight during his last weigh in, when he had a op for an strangualted hernia, any way have got special food for this, since his saturday hes off his food and sleeping lots and being really clingy. Hes always been a bit of a cuddle cat so did not worry at first. Hes still off his food have tried his favouite he of course likes fresh organic m & s chicken but not much. Has any one else had this problem after jabs before i rush him to the vet, am getting really worried now. Hes still going outside at night then sleeping rest of time on my pillow bless him. Please if anyone could help.

I've never really noticed them being off colour after vaccinations. Has the food been changed recently or has he been eating it OK previously? Bit odd he won't eat chicken, normally they love it. Might be worth just giving the vets a quick ring to ask their opinion? Just googled, and it said if they were off colour for more than 36-48 hours, to get them checked by vet.

have spoken to vet this morning and hes happy for moment as hes drinking peeing etc i have just nearly burst into tears as hes just eaten from his bowl sad i know, but i dont have children or a horse at the moment (yes heathers we are normal lol) so hes my sole thing i have to think about and cant bare to think thats I am not looking after him as he deserves, when he was a tiny 7 wk old kitten and came to live with me it, became my resonsbilty to care for his welfare.
