Police called us out at 3am as they had found two of our minis wandering on the road. They cornered them and managed to catch one, but the other is very nervous and will not be caught by strangers. He jumped the bonnet of the police car and has not been seen since. All the fencing on one side of the field has been cut in several places, and the electric fencing had been cut at both ends of the paddock too. Looks like wanton vandalism . We are afraid that the stallion has hurt himself and is holed up somewhere in hiding.

had a similar incident in 2004, someone had cut through our fencing and someone elses down the road, we had a colt, they had a mare! the rest is history! however the ponies were missing for 2 or 3 days and were spotted by a police helicopter at 5am 4 miles from home, i deeply sympathise with you i know how awful it is, the gits who did this want stringing up our ponies couldve been killed or some innocent motorist even...all got back safe and well praise the lord, i do hope you find him.

Very pleased to hear he is OK but also concerned as to how we protect ourselves from these idiots Sorry you had problems contacting Horsewatch For your area the NFED Forums seem to be very useful Perhaps when you have time--post on there that you had a problem contacting them. It may be different people doing the job or they have changed servers and not updated links. I am quite new to Horsewatch--I co-ordinate in SW Scotland
