stood at ringside today with a friend watching the unaffiliated classes while waiting for ponies uk small breeds to start...
a well known judge and breeder from our area, who we know, came over and started slagging off the unaffiliated judge...slagging off the unaffiliated competitors saying how crap they were and how many mistakes they had made...when i said they had to start somewhere and learn by their mistakes she said she is sick of hearing that and they should do their homework before entering, it got me so angry.
those kids were really trying and so not ready for affiliated so were in a suitable ring for their ability...have a go classes etc..my little sister being one of them, i have never heard such horrid things and coming from a judge, she did say worse but i cannot mention it on here as bit too close to home for some members of HG..well i was appalled..in my eyes her ponies and riders are far from perfection like any of us, and her judging is some what strange...i hope she reads this...i am disgusted by these comments and if she thinks that little of unaffiliated riders i hope to god she has the decency to not accept requests to judge them again!!!
i sure as hell will not be showing under you again mrs knowing what you think of us "pathetic" (in your words) people again...you can put your comments where the sun doesnt shine!!!!!

OMG...  People have to start somewhere , and as you said ,the judge needed not be there if she cannot stand "pathetic people"....ooo my blood is boiling...grrrr xx |

i had planned to be asleep by now, but its doing my head in!!! i swear, if we werent at a show i'd have said alot more than i did, im so wound up, it was pure nasty and the thing she said that i cant mention was sick!!! i thought i had heard some ringside bit*hing before but this has blown me away..if we turn up at a little show again and she is judging we will go in another ring...nasty, horrible person!

also to add...she was not judging today had brought one of her own, then slated another judge because it had not won!!! it went CRAP!!!!!!!! it didnt go forward, was appalling display and didnt deserve to be placed let alone win!!!! was a really nice hunter type though and i am sure with alot more work it will do ok!! so...i really hope she does come on here she will know who i am and she deserves a good moaning about and should be very ashamed of herself, she wasnt quiet about it either i might add !!  ! |

It does wind me up when judges do not give any help for people who are just starting to show and someone has to judge these classes and like me I enjoy doing the unaffiliated stuff but would not want to do affiliated as a judge even though my animals all show affiliated classes - also think that if you are entering a affiliated class you should not enter the unaffiliated classes to give those people a fair chance

solitaire, call me stupid but i dont get most of your post!! im tired!! we dont show in unaffiliated classes if there are affiliated classes on at a show!! the judge im on about wasnt judging she was competing and having a right go about unaffiliated riders!!

AND IF IT WASNT FOR THESE KIDS ENTERING SHOWS THERE WOULDNT BE ANY SHOWS AS THEIR ENTRY MONEY KEEP SHOWS GOING.

smokeycott i agree and that is exactly what i said to her, she said she is sick of the got to start somewhere attitude!!! her own horse didnt do very well in the unaffiliated class and was beaten by those kids!!!! which admittedly did make me smile !!!! where does she expect kids to gain experience if not in unaffiliated ring, also do some people not think that not everyone wants to go to hoys etc, some kids simply enjoy enjoying their ponies and showing off their pride and joy to anyone who will watch?? i was the same, i didnt know hoys existed when i was that age!!!! my first experince in the whp was an example, i did the course, got called back in and asked to do a show...."a what? " i said!!!!! i was 13 then!!! i just wanted some fun same as alot of those out last sunday!  |

i am disgusted. when i was 10 years old and at my first show on a 14h welsh cob plod doing clear round jumping this man was laughing with another man at my beloved pony, my mother looked at him and he said the only place for that pony is on a butchers slab,trust me ,she gave him both barrels and i beat his daughter in the novice jumping,games and the family pony class. ME AND BEAUTY WHEN I WAS 12 YEARS OLD  |

bet that shut them up heathers..someone said similar to my 11 yr old sister because her pony has a sarcoid, they also said she was cruel and should have her shot...was at newark showground this year...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! but this mouthy judge really upset me...if i mentioned what else she said it would start a witch hunt i promise you!!! so i wont.

just found out this person is judging the veterans at our show in 2weeks...fantastic..the only class i get to do with my horse all year..entry forms now in the bin. or maybe i should take my naughty horse in...mmm...gonna stop now got evil thoughts going on...  |

puk judge, competing a hunter in unaffiliated classes that went awful, apparently always the same, to kids and adults, judging veterans, up own backside...mmm cant be that hard to work out i guess!! careful? not bothered i hope she reads it!
