....Carolines fund.......11.2 adorable gelding for sale..the very best temperament, grey. broken by children and no problem at all..open to sensible offers as will need a little bit of work to get him back into it as he has been turned out all winter and spring, but wont take much, i can do this if required, reluctant sale but too small for our kids so would now like loving family home for him. price around £800 to top home.

Rather an over the top and aggressive response to a polite question from Halfpass, surely?

also i may add that this super little pony is one of my own, bought years ago when we were not into showing like we are now and i bought a pony who was meant to simply be a fab childs pony...and thats what he is!! unfortunately my child has got legs now and he will never be put to full use which is such a shame, i would like to be able to find an excuse to keep him i.e driving, but it wont happen and is unfair to keep him as a pet, he loves kids and will only be sold to a loving family home..so if you can offer this pm me, price will be more than fair to the right home will pop a pic of him as a foal on later x

Having read your comments on another thread, saying that you do sell ponies on behalf of people other than yourself, I do think you need to make it clear on your ads whether you in fact own the pony you are selling, or if not, then who does. It does make a difference to people's rights as a buyer should there be any matters arising from a sale. This does apply to all sellers.

We live on the edge of dartmoor and are therefore familiar with the splendid work of the dartmoor hill pony group, attending their open day etc. I think I am right in saying they have dartmoor hill pony passports which I think is what halfpass is asking, to identify them as being true dhp.
It does make a difference. There are now a lot of classes at shows especially for the hill pony to promote this wonderful breed, but they must be indentifiable as pure hill ponies as this is, after all, the aim of the group to bring back the pure hill bred pony.
Thank you for clarifying that for me, as I had never heard of the dhp, and was interested to know. halfpass

hi, do you know charlotte from down there? friends of the dhp? we bought these fab ponies via one of the annual sales, we took 5 back with us, all have been great!! they issued pet i.d passports on the day, that was our first experience of them! will do again in the future...2 of the ponies did have dhp passports but they were the older ponies, the foals we bought did not and were done at the sale, used to live down there myself and i grew up riding these ponies in cornwood!!!

I know of Charlotte Faulkner and her daughters Ginny & Storm they do a superb job promoting the true hill pony.

oh she is a star!!! it was Charlotte who helped us get our wonderful ponies, havent spoken to her for a while must give her a ring! this boy is a true hill pony with a heart of gold, we kept Charlotte informed of all 5 ponies progress, up until the last year and if any one has any doubts about these fab ponies she would be the one to call, they make excellent kids ponies, genuine all rounders..we will be looking in the future for first ponies for family members and they are the first ones we will look at and probably the last!!

Please can you either start a new thread for this conversation or use the PM system, as you are bumping the advert which is against site rules. Thank you.
